Please Join Us on Saturday, September the 6th at the Bowen Island Public School for a Fun filled 3 on 3 Floorball Tournament, followed by a patio barbeque at Doc Morgans on Bowen Island.
Cost is $25 for the day and includes a minimum of 4 Games. Food costs are extra.
Bowen Island is easy to get to by Ferry from Horseshoe Bay and the school is a 5 minute walk from the Ferry Terminal.
We will return to the Roundhouse on August the 11th, Please get there before 6pm, we will take the first 24 players.
Thanks to Chris Muschamps, we are happy to announce that there is new drop in night at Champlain Heights in East Vancouver. Starting July 4th, we invite you to play on Fridays from 8-10 PM. Cost is $7. If you need a stick, rental is $2. For shower privileges, you need to take out a membership with the CC at $4. Address is 3350 Maquinna Drive.

The Modern Hockey Floorball League has wrapped up it’s first ever Regular Season. Playoffs will feature a Final Game between Team Blast and Team Salming for the Championships, tonight-8pm at Mulgrave School… for those of you who wish to attend.

Team Salming will take on Team Blast for the First ever Floorball league Championships in Vancouver.

Last night marked our 6th week of League Play. The competition remains fierce and the play gets tighter and quicker. Halloween night attendance was strong and the results of the nights 2 games were as follows:
Team Salming beat Team Blast 11-8, while Team Xtreme maintained their perfect record, winning in overtime, over Team Precision.

Hi Floorballers,
Modern Hockey and the BCFF are joining forces to bring Vancouver its very first Floorball League
The First Division is for intermediate to advanced Floorball players and/or experienced Hockey Players.
The League will take to the Mulgrave Gym in West Vancouver on Wednesday Nights at 8pm. We are expecting to have 4 Teams in the Fall Session.
Games will be sanctioned by the BCFF and will have referees.
It will be exciting to see how our league play will elevate our skill level and competitiveness for future inter-provincial matches and tournament play.
For the more casual yet competitive Floorballer, we are looking at starting a Second Division in Vancouver. keep watch for more details…
Introduction To Floorball, Fall Session
Ages 12-14, Coed
Thursdays, Mulgrave School annex gymnasium, 7-8pm
Start date: September 27
Finish date: December 6
Cost: $77/11 sessions, late starters will be pro-rated.
Two instructors will cover rules,
conduct and basic skills along with drills and scrimmage time.
Equipment is provided. Participants are to bring non marking indoor
runners & gym wear. Limited to 20 players. Dates may change
slightly.
This program is put on by West Vancouver
Community Services. in combination
with the BCFF. Please call 604.925.7270 or 604.921.2100 to register.
Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.
West Vancouver Fall Floorball Drop In
Ages 15-adult, Coed
Thursdays, Mulgrave School main gymnasium, 8-10pm
Start Date: September 27/07
Finish Date: December 20/07
Fall Session: $60.50 for 11 sessions
Drop in fee: $6
Floorball Drop In will cover rules, skills and tactics, including 20-30
minutes of drills, followed by scrimmage. BCFF provides 1 instructor,
referee and equipment. Participants are to bring non marking indoor
runners & gym wear, preferably black and/or white t-shirt. Drop
in will be limited to 20 players. Priority will be given to players
who sign up for whole session. Open to everybody.
Exceptions/adjustments for dates:
October 25 - no floorball
November 1 - annex gym
November 15 - annex gym
November 29 - no floorball
December 6 - annex gym
