BC Floorball Federation is hosting a fundraising tournament to help support the cost of travel for BC women attending the World Floorball Championships in Sweden (December, 2009). The Richmond Oval has jumped on board supporting the cause, donating gym time for Sunday, October 25th.
This is a great opportunity to involve not only the established floorball community but also friends and family of players, allowing them to share in the sport and to give everyone something in return for their donation.
Fundraising is to support Stephanie Allam, Louise Clarke, among other girls. Come out to play in the tournament or to watch. We are very proud of our BC girls picked to represent Team Canada and look forward to showing them all of our support.
