Yesterdays tournament at Mulgrave was a blast! Over 60 players participated.
The Eventual Winners were Captained by Greg Rozitis and featured Tournament MVP Frederik Akerman. Frederik wins a $50 certificate at Taylors Crossing restaurant in addition to the Team prize of a $450 gift certificate from Modern Hockey.

The Mulgrave Youth Floorball matches were very enjoyable to watch. The BCFF Youth Floorball movement is churning out some amazing Floorball players and we can expect school Floorball to flourish in the next year. These kids were totally awesome. Thanks to the parents who continue to support their children in Floorball!

Floorball’s international appeal- WOW! Yesterdays event had players from Switzerland, Japan, Norway, Australia, Sweden, Chile, Finland, Poland, Denmark and we even had some Canadians!
Of note: Robbie Wilkinson, Lyndon Stanwood and Rayhaan Charania played very, very well yesterday, which is kind of a big deal as these players were selected to play for Team Canada at the upcoming Under 19 Word Floorball Championships in Finland. We need to support their development as best as possible and this tournament was valuable experience for them.
Cheers to those who traveled to West Vancouver from Victoria, Squamish and Whistler.
The night capped off at Taylors Crossing, where Dan Condon and Benny Nordberg ruled the pool tables.
Overall, the day was an amazing success and a whole lot of fun! We managed to raise over $1000, that the BC Floorball Federation can put towards the Floorball Boards that we recently purchased.
Next up on our Floorball Calendar is a Youth Floorball Tournament up at Mulgrave, and then it’s our turn to host the Canadian National Floorball Championships at the Richmond Oval.
