Floorball Hockey is a relatively new Sport to North America, and for
this reason, often gets called out to prove itself as a real legitimate
form of Hockey.
We often hear Floorball being compared to Floorhockey and Ball-Hockey, and Floorball Evangelists(a
blend of European innebandy and unihockey players living in North
America along with early adopters from the Canadian Hockey scene), are
eager to explain the similarities and the differences.

For those of us who have played most forms of Hockey; Street, Road,
Ice, Floor, Ball, Inline, Spongee, Bandy and Field, we can attest to
the remarkable cross-training benefits of Floorball for Hockey
Players. There are certain Floorball skills that simply cannot be
obtained from playing Floorhockey or BallHockey. These skills transfer
very well to the style of play in the new NHL. Congratulations to
