A collection of Floorball Players from Vancouver and Toronto came together to form the National Floorball Club(NFC) for last weekends Montreal Open. Team NFC met Team Red Phoenix, from Montreal, in the Finals. An extremely talented group of Ball Hockey Players, who have played together for 8 years and competed on the National Level and won, Red Phoenix were definitely the class of the elite division at this years Montreal Open. In the end, after an incredible run of wins…Team NFC kept it close for 2 periods in the final game. It was an amazing feat for Team NFC to advance to the finals, thanks to leadership from Fahad Saddiqui, Blair Zimmerman and Arek Piszczek. BC Floorballers that made the trek to Montreal were: Shea Esselmont, Greg Beaudin, Blair Zimmerman and Swiss Players, Dominik Hunziker, Simon Baumgartner, Ronny Dossenbach, and Team MVP- goalkeeper Chris Mohn.
