The countdown to the 1st Annual BCFF Floorball Challenge in Vancouver is on! One week to go …
Two National Floorball Team Members with the same last name face-off with
friends in an exhibition game at the 1st Annual BC Floorball Challenge.

Adrian Zimmerman, the 22 year old Swiss International was the leading scorer at the 2006 World Floorball Championship in Sweden. We are pleased to announce that he will be leading at a team against a team led by Canada’s very own Blair Zimmerman. Blair is a Canadian International who won MVP at the Canada Cup back in April.
Switzerland is currently number 3 in the Floorball World, losing out to Sweden in the 2006 Semi-Finals then winning the Bronze game. There are almost 30,000 players in the country, many of which take the chance to play in BC when visiting. The game has been played in Switzerland for over 20 years and
Both Zimmermans will lead a representative team made up of players from their own country in a friendly exhibition game taking place between two games involving over 30 students of Mulgrave School. Together with the competitive tournament on the day it should give all players and spectators a fantastic example of how exciting and inclusive Floorball can be!
There’s still time to register, either by printing the registration form or by using are online registration and payment system.
There will be more news, interviews and announcements as the excitement builds towards next Saturdays tournament.
